For this role you will be leading the team to provide and maintain an efficient, clean, safe working environment in all kitchens and back of house areas. To follow responsibilities as defined in cleaning schedule.
Role Responsibility
* · Ensure that the daily cleaning schedules are completed and signed for all departments by allocating tasks to each of the team members on duty.
* · Ensure there are adequate cleaning chemicals and equipment, communicating to the stores team your requirements. Make sure they are used and maintained in both a safe and cost effective manner.
* · Ensuring waste is disposed of correctly as per company legislation and monitoring levels, requesting additional uplifts through support services as and when required.
* · Assist in all cleaning duties as required.
* · Lead the team and training to ensure all health and safety and food safety policies are adhered to at all times while constantly striving for higher standards
* · Assist in other areas as required by Kitchen Manager, CPU Operations manager, Exec chef, Sous Chef
* · Venue kitchen cleaning as and when required outwith NFS
* · Lead and assist the BOH Team at venues/events as and when required
* · Organise the BOH team on a daily basis ensuring all tasks are completed as required
