An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Azure Infrastructure Analyst to join a dynamic Support & Operations team. This is a pivotal role responsible for maintaining the stability, scalability, security, and performance of systems runningon the Microsoft Azure platform. You will provide exceptional support to customers and take ownership of complex technical incidents, ensuring the smooth operation of critical healthcare infrastructure. As an Azure Infrastructure Analyst, you will manage and support the Azure-based infrastructure, including updates, security management, and system monitoring. You will work with a team of professionals in a fast-paced, global environment, delivering high-quality service to customers while adhering to ITIL and GAMP5 processes. Occasional out-of-hours and on-call work as part of a rota may be required. Responsibilities: Provide infrastructure support for Azure-based systems, ensuring efficient and secure operation. Manage incidents and escalate complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication. Support distributed microservices architecture and assist with release deployments. Monitor and report on system performance and implement service improvement recommendations. Engage with development, QA, and product teams to resolve issues. Manage system monitoring solutions and provide out-of-hours support as needed. Ensure adherence to Change, Incident, and Problem Management procedures. Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience with Microsoft Azure (certifications a plus). Knowledge of supporting Windows Server and Cloud Network Infrastructure (ideally Azure). Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, App Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, or SolarWinds. Familiarity with Azure Networking, including Hub & Spoke topology. Experience with network and firewall configuration (Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, etc.). A solid understanding of network and data security principles. Knowledge of ITIL v3 processes, ideally with certifications. Experience with Service Management processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management). Desirable knowledge of Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse). Familiarity with DevOps concepts like continuous integration, continuous deployment, and infrastructure as code. Educational Requirements: A BSc or Master's degree in Computer Science/IT (2:1 or above for BSc, Merit for Master's).
