As a Scrub Practitioner at KIMS Hospital, you'll play a key role in the care of patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery, working alongside a dedicated team.
This is a full-time role working 4 shifts per week between Monday and Saturday.

Main duties of the job
Role Responsibilities
As Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner you will:
* Work with a variety of orthopaedic surgeons as a scrub practitioner.
* Assess, plan, implement patient care and evaluate outcomes.
* Communicate effectively with other departments e.g. Sterile Services, Wards, Imaging Department to ensure effective and smooth-running patient care.
* Ensure that patients' comfort, dignity, and privacy are always maintained.
* Ensure that your own practice and the practice of others is within an ethical and legal framework.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Be a qualified and registered Practitioner (RN or ODP).
* Hold a Surgical First Assistant (SFA) Qualification.
Experience
* Have post-registration experience working as a Scrub Practitioner.
* Be patient-oriented with a focus on continuous service improvement.
* Have evidence of continuous professional development and its application.
* Experience working as an Anaesthetic Practitioner.
* Experience working as an Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner.
* Experience of planning, coordinating and running the daily workload in a theatre suite, including the supervision of staff.
