Job Description:
We have an opportunity for a Senior ADM Technician (Late Shift) to join the Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality parts using a variety of rapid prototyping technologies. You will supervise and delegate to meet the demands of the department. You will work closely with design engineers to create prototype parts for Wind Tunnel testing and the full-size race car. We aspire to be the absolute best in every aspect of our team. What you will be doing:
* Operate and maintain 3D printers and other rapid prototyping equipment.
* Planning and programming of builds for 3D printing technologies.
* Collaborate with design engineers to produce RP parts for Wind Tunnel testing.
* Supervise and manage the production needs of the rapid prototyping department during the shift.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
* Ensure all safety guidelines and protocols are followed.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Participate and lead in design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.
* Monitor and report on project progress, particularly related to RP builds.
* Collaborate and lead with design teams and engineers to determine material specifications and requirements.
* Work with internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
* Be on call as part of a rota (1 week in 7).
Requirements
* Experience working in an ADM department (motorsports is preferable).
* A broad knowledge across multiple ADM technologies.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and designs.
* Strong attention to detail and quality control.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with design engineers.
* Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize competing demands.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Able to perform duties in a timely manner with minimal errors.
* Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
