As the UK & Ireland Sales Leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing the regional sales strategy, managing a high-performing team of Account Managers and Channel Managers by driving revenue growth through direct customer engagement and strategic partner relationships. This is a leadership role that requires a balance of strategic thinking, team management, and hands-on customer and partner engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth in the UK & Ireland market, ensuring alignment with EMEA and global objectives.
2. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers and Channel Managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
3. Customer Engagement: Engage directly with enterprise customers to drive sales opportunities, support complex negotiations, and ensure customer success.
4. Partner & Channel Management: Build and expand relationships with key channel partners, system integrators, and technology alliances to drive indirect sales growth.
5. Pipeline Generation & Forecasting: Own and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting to senior leadership.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product management, and customer success teams to drive market adoption and ensure alignment on customer needs.
7. Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer challenges to refine the sales approach and identify new opportunities.
Key Requirements:
1. Proven experience in sales leadership, ideally within the identity software, cybersecurity, or enterprise SaaS sectors.
2. Strong track record of successfully managing and scaling account management and channel management teams.
3. Deep understanding of the UK & Ireland enterprise software market, including key industry verticals and decision-making processes.
4. Experience driving direct and indirect sales through Select, Enterprise and Mid-market customers and channel partners.
5. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
6. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive change effectively.
