We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants in Blackpool to offer crucial support to our students and teachers in KS3 and KS4. The daily wage for this role ranges from £85 to £90, depending on your experience, qualifications, and teaching expertise.
This role involves working with the students, helping them with their academic work and ensuring a positive learning environment. You will support both teachers and students to enhance the educational experience including helping with classroom organisation, assisting in the delivery of lessons, and providing one-on-one or small group support to students.

Responsibilities:
6. Reading, writing and SPAG support.
7. Adjusting or breaking down activities to support participation and understanding.
8. Develop a supportive relationship with the child that promotes self esteem and confidence.
9. To develop knowledge and understanding of the specific academic, physical, emotional and behavioural needs of the child and respond to them effectively.
10. To liaise with the Teacher and SENCO about the development and support needed at home and in school for the child.
11. To provide the whole class, small groups and 1:1 support.
12. Monitor and maintain records of the pupils progress.
13. To assist with general school duties which may include setting up classrooms, preparing resources and displays and tidying and clearing away
14. Supervision of children during lunch times and Supervision of children entering and leaving school premises.
Requirements:
15. Be comfortable and confident in managing challenging behaviours.
16. Ability to engage with, and build rapport with the students.
17. Be creative, proactive and flexible in their supporting style.
18. Have experience with SEN or knowledge learning difficulties.
19. TA qualified.
