Are you a driven professional with a passion for M&A and risk solutions? We’re looking for an experienced Transactional Liability Broker to join a growing team at a highly respected Lloyd’s Broker in the heart of London.
About the Role:
You’ll play a key role in placing W&I (Warranty & Indemnity), Tax Liability, and Contingent Risk insurance for private equity firms, corporates, and legal advisers across the UK and Europe. Working closely with underwriters and clients, you’ll manage complex deals, provide strategic advice, and deliver bespoke insurance solutions to support M&A transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Structuring and placing W&I and other transactional risk policies.
2. Liaising with clients, legal advisers, and insurers throughout the deal process.
3. Negotiating terms and coverage with underwriters in the Lloyd’s and company markets.
4. Supporting senior brokers with complex transactions and growing your own client base.
5. Maintaining strong market relationships and staying ahead of M&A trends.
About You:
1. Experience in transactional liability/M&A insurance, corporate law, or a related advisory role.
2. Strong understanding of M&A processes and risk allocation.
3. Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
4. Organised, analytical, and commercially astute.
5. (Re)insurance broking experience at a Lloyd’s broker or insurer is a plus.
