A distinguished law firm, highly regarded and recognized in the Legal 500, is presently in search of a proficient Conveyancing Assistant to join their expanding Conveyancing Team at their prestigious Guildford office.
Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Provide administrative and secretarial support.
2. Enable attorneys to focus on legal tasks while upholding exceptional client service standards.
3. Facilitate supervised involvement in junior-level fee earning assignments.
4. Type transcriptions from digital dictations for comprehensive documentation.
5. Oversee procedures for opening files and generating invoices.
6. Manage communications via phone, mail, fax, and email.
7. Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Word and other pertinent software.
8. Coordinate schedules and schedule appointments.
9. Draft and prepare essential documents.
10. Address client inquiries and issues promptly.
11. Assist with research endeavors.
12. Aid Fee Earners with caseloads and undertake supervised junior-level fee earning tasks.
13. Handle filing duties and other general administrative tasks.
We're on the lookout for someone with strong IT skills and exceptional typing speed, demonstrating outstanding organizational and administrative abilities, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills, including polished telephone etiquette. Collaboration, autonomy, and adaptability in a dynamic, forward-thinking workplace are essential. Previous experience as a legal secretary, especially in conveyancing, is highly regarded.
