Job Summary:
The Cleaning Area Manager is responsible for overseeing cleaning operations within designated areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role requires effective management of cleaning staff, adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Management & Supervision:
o Oversee daily cleaning operations across various sites.
o Supervise, train, and evaluate cleaning staff to ensure productivity and quality of work.
o Conduct regular inspections of cleaning tasks to ensure compliance with company standards.
2. Scheduling & Coordination:
o Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
o Coordinate with clients to understand their cleaning requirements and expectations.
3. Quality Control:
o Implement quality control measures to enhance service delivery.
o Address and resolve any client complaints or issues regarding cleaning services.
4. Health & Safety:
o Ensure that all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations.
o Train staff on safe cleaning practices and the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
5. Inventory Management:
o Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
o Order supplies as necessary while maintaining budgetary constraints.
6. Reporting:
o Prepare reports on cleaning operations, staff performance, and any incidents that occur.
o Provide feedback and recommendations for operational improvements.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a cleaning management role or similar position.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
* Knowledge of cleaning procedures, products, and equipment.
* Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Skills:
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and technology.
* Capability to manage diverse teams effectively.

We are looking to fill this role as soon as possible. On average, 5 days per week to suit the needs of the business.
You will report directly to the Senior Operations Manager.
