ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a passionate and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager at The Wild Rabbit, Kingham, Oxfordshire. You will be responsible for all aspects of restaurant operations, providing support to the General Manager in the running of The Wild Rabbit award winning fine dining restaurant. The collection is made up of three brands; Daylesford Organic, Daylesford Stays and Bamford. SALARY: 35,000 per annum TRONC (up to 6,000 per annum) Permanent | Full Time RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the Restaurant Manager with all food and beverage operations To work as a consummate host to our guests & residents Assigns duties to our team and observe performance to ensure adherence to our policies and established operating procedures. To ensure effective shift management, leading and motivating the front of house team, delivering a seamless service. You will promote the Wild Rabbit within the industry, and local community. Monitor the Guest feedback on all social platforms. Receives and resolves or assists the Restaurant manager with guest complaints and service recovery process. Selects or assists in the team hiring process and completes necessary onboarding Review teams' performance and conducts personnel actions such as disciplinary actions and terminations. Adheres to all company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating procedures. Ensure full compliance to the operating controls, SOP's, policies, procedures and service standards. Builds owner loyalty through proactive communication, setting and managing expectations and delivering solid business results. Ensures the restaurant and outside areas are maintained to high standards. Provide effective leadership to our team members. Builds strong working relationships and communications with the team, HOD's and other departments to ensure maximum operating effectiveness and fulfilment of special events. Ensure cover of all shifts across all departments as scheduled by the Restaurant Manager. Monitor maintenance progress and FF&E (Furniture, Furnishings, and Equipment) conditions and provide status report to GM. Audits on par stock on all areas to make sure that all required supplies are ordered and stocked in advance of need. Ensure high standards are adhered to with team uniforms and grooming standards. Ensures effective, timely and accurate communications flow with regards to our policies and procedures. To highlight H&S matters to your line manager or appropriate parties SKILLS YOU WILL BRING Experience working for a high standard pub or restaurant. Rooms experience would be a bonus. Act as a natural leader and role model for your team.
