Duties: Nursery duties, Cooking meals, Driving children, General tidying, Laundry and ironing, Grocery shopping, Dog walking/pet care Nanny responsibility: The nanny will have a mixture of sole and shared charge Preferred nanny attributes: Childcare experience, Paediatric first aid training, Driver, Animal lover, Outdoorsy, Sporty, Swimmer, cyclist, Creative, Cooking skills, Available for babysitting and overtime, Non-smoker Nanny duties and expectations We are seeking a housekeeper or nanny/housekeeper for our long-term client in Holbeton, Devon. Our client is considering two employment options: Nanny/Housekeeper (40 hours per week) Housekeeping on a Monday and Tuesday, with Nanny/Housekeeping on a Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. You will care for the youngest son, who is 9 months old, and offer before and after school care to the eldest son aged 5 years old. The role is also offered on Monday and Tuesday only, with some additional wrap-around hours later in the week. Housekeeper with some nanny duties (approx. 50 hours per week) A full-time housekeeping only role from Monday to Friday (a part-time nanny will be employed in addition on a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday). You will be responsible for the main house and various other properties on the estate. This role includes a very small element of childcare on a Monday and Tuesday to allow a couple of hours for mum to ride her horse. Duties include: Childcare for two boys aged 9 months and 5 years old Preparing and setting up breakfast Cooking and preparing the evening meal ready for the family Housekeeping Laundry Ironing Pet care Paid overtime (specifically a Thursday when the mother is on call) The hours of work are flexible for a housekeeper and can include a break in the day or a later start time. This is a live-in or live-out role; the family lives in a beautiful location overlooking the sea; they have a large estate and can offer a small but luxury barn conversion accommodation available to live in at all times or just during the working week as preferred. In addition, you will have use of all facilities on site whilst working. The ideal candidate will be proactive and have experience in housekeeping, cooking, laundry, and general house management, as well as some childcare experience. Both parents work away from home, and the father regularly travels away, so reliability and discretion are very important. This is a long-term role for the right person and may include skiing/sailing and includes travel in the UK and overseas. Days and hours required for option 1.
