ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Degree Apprentice Service Engineer to join our motivated and creative team in our Eckington Hub.
We are currently seeking motivated and ambitious individuals to join our team as Degree Apprentices. This is a unique opportunity for you to gain practical experience, earn a salary, and achieve a fully funded degree in BEng in Maintenance Engineering.
As a Degree Apprentice with ITI Group, you will have a tailored development plan over a 4-year period to support your development and career progression.
Salary: Up to £22,500 depending on skills.
Please note: Candidates must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.

SUMMARY OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Over the length of the programme, you will:
* Assist in the resolution of client incidents and issues, working as an integral team member contributing to the resolution of challenges.
* Assist in the maintenance of the asset management framework for all sites inclusive of software and hardware.
* Support in the maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, test plans, operator manuals and quality documentation.
* Support the commissioning on customer sites, working closely with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and project management, to support a successful project delivery.
* Work towards the successful completion of your Apprenticeship Qualification.
THE APPRENTICESHIP
This structured 4-year Degree Apprenticeship program combines work-based learning with academic study. You will work alongside experienced engineers on real-life projects, develop your technical skills, and study to complete a recognised qualification in Control Systems Engineering.
As an integral part of your apprenticeship, your progress will be monitored and assessed against government standard requirements.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grades 9 to 4 (Grades A* to C) including Mathematics, English Language and one Science or Engineering subject (Other equivalent qualifications may be considered).
At least one of the following:
* A minimum of two A-Levels at grade B or above, including a mathematical-based subject and a science, technology, engineering or an additional mathematics-related subject
* An Engineering BTEC Level 3 with at least 120 credits at DM (Distinction Merit) level or above
* EAL Diploma in an engineering-based subject at distinction level
* Equivalent qualifications such as Technical Levels at DM or above.
Skills and experience:
* An interest in systems engineering principles and methodologies.
* An interest in electrical concepts and manufacturing processes.
* A strong aptitude for hands-on technical work is desirable.
* A working knowledge of Microsoft software products is desirable.
Additional Requirements:
* Candidates must be able to prove they have the right to work in England.
* Candidates may be required to achieve appropriate security and medical clearances; these will be instigated on receiving a conditional offer of employment.
