The individual in this role sets an example by driving performance and enhancing the Order & Export (O&E) processes. Leveraging their expertise, they support the team in consistently meeting and surpassing all functional goals to a high standard.
As an essential team member, they contribute to executing the overall business strategy, ensuring that O&E operations are fully aligned with business goals and deliver measurable value.
This role emphasizes open, transparent communication, fostering strong relationships and promoting a respectful, collaborative team culture.
Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend holiday cover).
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with sites, freight forwarders, and external warehouses to manage orders, update information, and communicate with customers, operations, and account managers.
* Take responsibility for your workload to ensure processes are completed on time.
* Handle escalations and escalate further if needed for quick resolution.
* Ensure accurate documentation and administration as required.
* Continuously look for ways to improve customer satisfaction and relationships.
* Proactively manage orders from start to finish, collaborating with cross-functional teams for top-quality results.
* Identify root causes of issues and find ways to improve performance and reduce service impacts.
* Meet agreed performance targets.
* Work effectively with others to resolve supplier issues by overcoming obstacles.
* Assist leadership in prioritizing and managing daily operations.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and local regulations.
* Participate in daily SSC check-ins.
* Ensure a smooth handoff from the O&E process to supporting departments.
* Help create and maintain training materials, and provide system and process training to the team.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Act decisively under pressure, taking full responsibility for achieving high standards.
