Role: Complex Care Assistant - Female Location: Paddock Wood Hourly Rate: £15.00 to £16.83 Working Hours: 12-hour day shifts available to include Saturdays on rota. We also ask that there is flexibility within the team supporting our client to cover days and nights for sick and annual leave. Please note that you must be eligible to work in the UK. We do not offer sponsorship. Some previous care experience is essential Contract type: Zero hours. Contracted hours could be considered following successful completion of probation About the Role: Continuity of care is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Female Complex Care Assistant to support our sociable 20s male client living with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. He requires a patient carer willing to spend time getting to know him and to support him with elements of his social care. He has a great sense of humour and loves meeting new people. He has an avid interest in football and playing games on his Wii. His other enjoyments are walks in the local community and listening to music. Our clients requirements: - Personal care - Moving and handling - Medication administration - Epilepsy knowledge - An understanding of Dystonia would be desirable - G&J-PEG (training will be given) - Maintaining a safe and tidy environment - Full UK driving licence as you will be required to drive a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) Skills training specific to the individuals needs will be provided by Continuity Training Academy for all our Care Assistants.
