Admin Advert - Newcastle
This is a main pay scale role with a pay range of £90.00 - £120.00 linked to your current experience.
We are working with a school based in Newcastle looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to help in the school office. The role is to start ASAP and is ongoing on a temporary basis with the school until the end of the academic year, with potential for the successful candidate to be taken on permanently. Admin experience in a school isn’t required but is highly desirable.
The role of School Administrator will involve:
1. Manning the reception desk
2. Speaking with students, parents, and other stakeholders
3. Various administrative duties including answering the phone and responding to emails
Requirements:
1. Previous experience within an administrative role
2. Fully conversant with MS Office packages (Word, Outlook, Excel)
3. Experience within an educational institution is preferred but not essential
4. A current, valid Enhanced DBS certificate or a willingness to apply for one
5. Experience with SIMS would be advantageous
