Hampshire Cricket’s Utilita Bowl is the south coast’s premier international cricket, music and leisure destination.
We strive to deliver top tier sporting and entertainment experiences across our ever expanding events portfolio. We are proud to host matches for Hampshire Cricket, Southern Brave and England Cricket, plus amazing live music events with a capacity of 30,000. Alongside this we are proud to host our annual Fireworks event and drone shows.
Now is an incredibly exciting time to join us as we look forward to being a host venue for the Women’s Cricket World Cup in 2026 and hosting our first ever Men’s Ashes Test in 2027.
Who we’re looking for
A creative and organised graphic design professional who is confident managing multiple projects and working across a wide range of channels and brands.
The ideal candidate will be proficient across Adobe Suite and have experience contributing to digital and social campaigns.
Key responsibilities
* Lead on the creation and output of engaging design content, primarily for digital and social platforms but also including an element of print.
* Oversee the management and scheduling of design requirements for all venue brands.
* Create design assets suitable for a wide range of purposes and channels, with a focus on the creation of digital assets that enhance content and marketing plans.
* Work closely with the leads for marketing and content to understand and contribute to upcoming campaign plans.
* Work collaboratively across departments to understand design requirements and support with the briefing process.
* Amend pre-existing artwork and creative, including creative from third parties with prescribed brand guidelines (e.g. England Cricket).
* Liaise with print agencies to obtain quotes for production of printed materials and oversee completion and successful delivery of production jobs.
* Work with existing Graphic Designer to manage workflows and prioritise tasks to ensure timely delivery of assets across the business.
* Ensure all design and creative aligns with the brand guidelines for the business unit/product which it relates to and following all relevant sign-off and approval processes.
* Manage the venue’s library of assets, ensuring that all work is logged and stored in line with the established process.
* Any other duties as required. This may include some occasional major event day working where roles may be very flexible.
Essential skills and experience
* Exceptional knowledge and use of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
* Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is desirable.
* Confident delivering creative which works across a wide range of digital platforms.
* Keen eye for detail, able to proof own work to limit mistakes prior to sign-off from project leads.
* Creative mindset with confidence to contribute to team discussions and share ideas which can enhance campaigns.
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks, work to briefs and meet tight deadlines.
* Team player, working to positively contribute to a small and dedicated team.
* Excellent communication skills
We are delighted to offer a salary between £27,000 - £32,000, dependent on experience, with the opportunity to discuss a part-time pro rata role for the right candidate.

Working hours and location
This role is based at Utilita Bowl, Botley Road, West End, Southampton, SO30 3XH. Standard hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, with occasional requirements to work on matchdays or events. We do offer flexibility around our start and finish times.
