Role: CDM Advisor / Principal Designer Location: Ipswich or London office Salary: Up to £50,000 bonus scheme excellent benefits package Sector: Property & Construction Consultancy WRG is supporting an independent property & construction consultancy who are looking to appoint an ambitious CDM/ PD professional to their team in Ipswich or London. Our client has ambitious growth plans for the year ahead, and would like to hire an experienced CDM/ PD to oversee their project portfolio. You would cover a diverse portfolio of industrial, high end residential and retail projects across the UK. The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary environment where they will be working alongside Building Surveyors, Project Managers and Cost Managers to offer a CDM/ PD service to clients. The role would suit an motivated CDM professional from a consultancy background who feels that their progress is currently stalled, our client has a history of excellent career progression and will offer support and training for you to achieve success. Responsibilities: Offer a range of CDM/ PD services to clients. Deliver various H&S services to ensure compliance on construction projects. Oversee the design risk register and attend design risk reviews, along with offering input in relation to safety in design. Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date. Preparation of health and safety files and construction phase plans where required. Carry out site inspections and ensure that RAMS are in place. Further build and develop existing client relationships and develop new ones. Liaise with various stakeholders (architects, contractors, developers, designers, client) and keep them informed of changes regarding safety. Requirements: NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not required). Membership to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or similar professional body. Excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations. Good understanding of BSA and the changes affecting the industry (desirable). Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Full UK driving license.
