We are recruiting for a Cook to join our Catering team where you will support the delivery of an efficient, flexible, modern customer focused catering service, to all students, staff and visitors. As a Cook your duties will include: Undertaking responsibility for day-to-day management of food production Rotating stock as per established procedures Properly storing food items at appropriate temperatures Ordering new ingredients as required Ensure day to day practices within the kitchen meet all regulations, including food safety, and health and safety Responsibility for ensuring excellent food hygiene practices across the food production areas. We are looking for someone with experience in a professional catering environment, along with experience in customer service. You should hold a Level 2 in Food Hygiene, or be willing to work towards this. In addition, you should have a good level of Maths and English, and be able to work well within a team.
