Job Title: Registered Home Manager Location: Exeter Salary: £70,000 Full-time, Permanent Amber Mace are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Nursing Home Manager to lead a well-established nursing home in Exeter. This is an exciting opportunity for a resilient and tenacious individual with a strong track record in nursing home management, especially those with turnaround experience or a history of long-term success in their roles. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and high standards of care. Lead, inspire, and develop a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Manage budgets, staffing levels, and resources effectively. Ensure a person-centred approach to care, promoting residents' dignity and independence. Drive quality improvements and meet KPIs, ensuring the home’s continued success and positive reputation. Foster strong relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders. Provide leadership during inspections and maintain CQC ratings. Essential Requirements: Ideally a Nursing Pin (RGN/RMN), will consider someone with a strong background in nursing home management. A proven track record of success in managing a nursing home or similar care facility. A resilient and tenacious approach, with the ability to thrive under pressure and overcome challenges. Previous experience in turnaround management is highly desirable. Longevity in roles, showing commitment and consistency in previous positions. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Previous experience with CQC inspections and achieving high ratings. A solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
