About the Opportunity
Ipsum is a leading provider of specialist utility and infrastructure solutions, operating on both public and private networks. As a result, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in a senior leadership role.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing projects from inception to completion, with a focus on delivering high-quality results while ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. They will be responsible for providing strong leadership, contract management, project delivery, and strategic planning to meet or exceed operational targets.
About You
* You will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
* You will have a good understanding of distribution networks and experience working in a customer-focused environment.
* You will be able to monitor performance regularly and implement improvements to ensure that all site staff, including subcontractors, adhere to health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
1. Manage day-to-day site operations, including staff, subcontractors, vehicles, equipment, and issues arising from sites.
2. Engage in regular customer-facing discussions and arrangements to ensure exceptional customer service levels.
3. Actively monitor the performance of site staff, including subcontractors, in relation to health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
4. Investigate and report all incidents, implementing remedies as necessary.
5. Monitor and improve performance and safety requirements regularly.
6. Survey and quote individual projects based on a contract schedule of rates.
7. Ensure that resources are adequate for the workload and that projects are delivered in an economic and timely manner.
Requirements
* You will have a proven track record in a project management position, preferably in the power distribution/transmission industry.
* You will hold a C&G Electrical qualification.
