As we expand our operations into the UK, we are seeking a dedicated and responsible Warehouse Operative to join our team. If you are looking for an opportunity to contribute to a company with a global impact and grow professionally, this is the role for you Responsibilities: Receiving and Unloading: Unload incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of deliveries against purchase orders; Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues to the Warehouse Manager; Record received items and input data into inventory management systems; Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory in designated areas; Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy; Report any inventory discrepancies or shortages; Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders for delivery based on order sheets and customer specifications; Prepare and label shipments according to company and carrier standards; Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery; Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently; Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas; Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment; Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE); Assist in maintaining warehouse equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs; Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions and movements; Complete necessary paperwork for shipping, receiving, and inventory control; Assist in preparing and compiling warehouse activity reports; Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to optimize workflow and improve efficiency; Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred); Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or as required); Good communication and teamwork skills.
