1st Enable Ltd are currently recruiting a Support Worker to support the Senior Support Worker and Service Manager with cover of a service in Chester. The Support Worker will assist the Service Manager in a service that supports adults in providing outstanding care and support, working with individuals to understand their needs and help them to achieve their goals and ambitions. At the end of your day, you will have made a positive difference to someone’s life.
As we provide 24/7 support to individuals, we are looking for flexible Support Workers to cover a range of shifts, part-time or full-time, including days, nights, evenings, and weekends along with sleep-ins. This is a fundamental requirement of the role as we have a statutory duty of care to the people we support and to those who require support overnight.
You will receive £12.00 per hour (£13.45 per hour bank/overtime), 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays (pro rata for part-time), a range of fantastic employee benefits (listed below), and full training and support.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
* Management of any incidents, with on-call advice and support.
* Forming, developing, and maintaining professional relationships with the people we support, families, and professionals.
* Delivering care as outlined in the care plan and person-centred plan.
* Assisting and supporting individuals in day-to-day personal/practical care tasks according to individual needs, which may include cooking, shopping assistance, supporting people with daily living skills and confidence, and where appropriate, the provision of personal care.
A level 3 in health and social care is desirable; however, we can support you towards achieving this.
This role may be suited to those with experience as a Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant, HCA, Personal Assistant, or someone with a natural sense of empathy who is open to problem-solving and thinking outside of the box. Most importantly, we seek someone who wants to make a difference, sees the best in people, and has a strong commitment to always promoting the rights of each young person.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check paid for by 1st Enable (Ts & Cs Apply).
