Senior Project Director

NEO are seeking expert Civil Engineering Project Directors from major projects backgrounds for a key client in the UK, both local and international applicants are welcome.
Due to a number of significant recent awards we looking to speak with candidates from main contracting backgrounds who have experience delivering multi-disciplinary NEC or FIDIC contracts upwards of £500m in both collaborative and hard money environments.
We would welcome speaking with candidates with heavy civils or turnkey project experience from Nuclear, Highways, Rail, Energy or Defence.

Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of project planning, design, and execution, including budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and risk management
* Develop project plans and strategies, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
* Manage project teams, including contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle
* Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure that project goals are achieved
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying business opportunities and negotiating contracts to maximize profitability
* Analyse financial data, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to improve project profitability
* Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, promoting a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
* Minimum of 20 years of experience in civil engineering construction project management, with a track record of successful project delivery
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals
* Strong business acumen and deep knowledge of the construction industry, including industry trends and best practices
* Experience managing complex projects, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, manage budgets, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the required quality standards
* Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry
* Ability to analyse financial data, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to improve project profitability
