Our client is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Veterinary Sales Specialist to promote and sell their innovative anesthesia equipment across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company making a real difference in animal health.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for promoting, demonstrating, and selling veterinary anesthesia products while delivering an outstanding customer experience. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to develop tailored solutions, improve efficiency, and grow market share. This is a field-based role requiring regular travel.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Confidently promote and sell the product range to veterinary professionals and clinics.
* Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
* Develop and execute territory plans to increase market share in veterinary anesthesia.
* Support clients with product demonstrations and training.
* Proactively generate leads through cold calling and identifying decision-makers.
* Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to identify new opportunities.
* Provide feedback from the field to help shape product development and strategy.
* Maintain accurate records in the customer database and prepare regular sales reports.
* Monitor competitor activity and market trends, reporting insights to management.
* Attend trade shows, training courses, and company events as required.
* Ensure responsible use of expense budgets and inventory management.
Skills, Qualities & Attributes
* A self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
* Proven ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to present confidently in group settings.
* Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
* Clinical experience in the veterinary sector or a related commercial role.
* Previous experience in veterinary sales is highly desirable.
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
* Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home when required.
* Full UK driving license
