Drainage Engineer ( Remedials team or Reactive team )\n\n£35,000 (negotiable upon experience) + Overtime OTE of £10,000\n\nBirmingham & surrounding areas\n\nFull Time| Permanent | Monday to Friday \n\nAre you an experienced Drainage Engineer?\n\nDo you have some plumbing experience?\n\nAttega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Drainage Engineer to join the team.\n\nThe main purpose of this role is to work as a Reactive Drainage/ plumbing operative responsible for supporting with reactive and some planned works.\n\nIn return, our client is offering a salary of up to £35,000 P/A, depending on experience.\n\nThis is a full-time, permanent role The hours of work will be shift 7am – 5pm. Requirement to daily overtime, night work and stay aways when requested.\n\nReporting to the Hiring Manager your responsibilities will include:\n\nLeak tracing and investigation on above ground water services\nRepairing leaks on water services in service voids and risers.\nMust demonstrate technical knowledge and competency in undertaking internal and external investigation works, above ground and below ground descales with use of HPWJ and mechanical coring/ milling equipment.\nMust be competent in operating electrical mechanical coring equipment and Picote milling machines for internal drainage clearance works.\nCompetent in operating HPWJ equipment\nRemoving and replacing small bore waste pipe on pot wash sinks, basins, urinals etc\nReplacing mixer taps, wash down taps and spray guns\nReplacing toilet float lines and stack pipework\nRemoving and Installing cast iron soil pipework\nSupporting drainage operatives with internal drain descales.\nUsing CCTV equipment to support leak investigation.\nTaking water samples to confirm source of leaks.\n\nThe ideal candidate:\n\n3+ years experience within Drainage\nPlumbing experience\nExcellent communicator\nDriving license\n\nFor more information on our Drainage Engineer ( Remedials ) role, please contact Tom in the Attega Group offices today
