Head of Commercial Finance (Multi-Divisional)

A DAY IN THE LIFE
As the Head of Commercial Finance, Multi-Division, you will be a key business partner to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO), providing strategic financial insights into customer performance across all divisions and identifying opportunities for growth.
You will play a crucial role in setting UKI objectives, collaborating with the CGO to develop the UKI Commercial Frame for top customers and the Category frame for cross-divisional opportunities.
A typical day could involve analyzing commercial KPIs, reviewing online and offline profitability, leading discussions with divisional teams on profit improvement plans, or providing financial modeling for new customer business cases, including those within the exciting and evolving e-commerce landscape.
You will also support the Multi-Division Ecommerce team, analyzing key customer performance including our Top 3 online partners and the evolving Social Commerce business model.
Additionally, you will play a crucial role in ensuring alignment of cross-divisional commercial payment terms as part of NEO pre-readiness.
You will also monitor competitor performance, share best practices across divisions, and lead Commercial Finance topics within the UKI community.
Your insights will be instrumental in shaping strategic decision-making at the highest levels, impacting the growth trajectory of L'Oréal UKI.
Finally, you will also act as the Commercial Finance lead on eD2C stock and trade internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial operations.

Collaboration is key to success in this role. You will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including the Chief Growth Officer, E-comm Finance Champions, Internal Control, Finance Transformation, Zone Commercial Finance, Divisional Finance Teams, Accounting, the Tax Director, the Multidivisional Finance Director, and the NEO team. Building strong relationships with these partners will be essential to driving alignment, sharing best practices, and ensuring the successful execution of commercial strategies across the UKI business. Your ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels will be critical to your success.
Additionally:
* Degree Qualification in a relevant discipline
* The candidate should have to be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA)
* Previous relevant experience working within a strategic role in the FMCG sector or similar
* Outstanding rigour and attention to detail
