Job description
JOB DESCRIPTION
This permanent role is based in Wimborne, Dorset.
Responsibilities include
1. Responsible for building and repairing a selection of sub-assemblies and launchers of Actuation equipment
2. Task Management: Build and repair sub-assemblies and launchers to agreed engineering methods and processes, ensure all paperwork is updated correctly in a timely manner, time cards are completed on a daily basis, training is kept up to date and where applicable verified
3. Autonomy: Works with team to identify and drive productivity and performance improvement opportunities to support cost reductions
4. People Management: Actively supports and progresses their own development needs to ensure task flexibility via the use of skills matrix
5. Communication: Attends start of shift meeting with team to understand the team's targets, any key issues / problems and any other communications (e.g. health & safety issues, training, visitors, ad-hoc requests etc.) attend additional meetings as and when required
6. Escalation of issues to Production Supervisor in timely manner
