Role responsibilities
* Lead on transport modelling projects and tasks, covering a wide range of modelling techniques and using specialist software (including Visum and SATURN).
* Maintain, update and operate the three Wales Regional Multi Model Transport Models.
* Support project managers by providing and interpreting transport modelling data and analyses.
* Prepare transport forecasts for WelTAG appraisals and other business cases.
* Prepare method statements and fee proposals for transport modelling aspects of projects.
Who we’re looking for
* Degree in transport planning, transport modelling, engineering, mathematics or similar subject.
* Demonstrable experience of delivering transport modelling services to clients.
* Experience of using Visum and/or SATURN software for strategic transport modelling.
* Experience of working with transport-related datasets.
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh is desirable but not essential.
