As part of the Transport UK Group, West Midlands Trains delivers around 1,300 train journeys a day, for more than 60 million passengers a year, across our two brands - West Midlands Railway and London Northwestern Railway.
We are committed to delivering a safe and reliable train service, by investing in our fleet of trains, stations and employees. As part of this investment, we are looking to recruit a System Coordinator on a full-time, permanent basis, based at our head office in Birmingham on a hybrid basis.
What does the job involve?
* Asset Management: Keep asset data updated, implement new assets in the CAFM system, and manage changes to PPMs as directed.
* System Support: Assist with system updates, troubleshoot user issues, and update system documentation and processes.
* Documentation and Reporting: Attach service documentation, maintain facilities documentation, and produce asset performance reports.
* Property Department Support: Provide support to the Property department, liaise with Property Managers for maintenance records, and assist with help desk functionality.
* Future Integration: Facilitate future interfaces with other platforms, including data cleansing, gathering, and training.
What skills and experience do I need to do the job?
* Organisational and Analytical Skills: Highly organised, efficient, thorough, with strong attention to detail and excellent time management.
* Technical Proficiency: High level of IT competency with Microsoft Office, previous experience with CAFM systems would be a bonus, and strong analytical skills.
* Communication and Customer Service: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good customer service, and focus on building customer relationships.
* Self-Motivation and Teamwork: Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team, highly self-motivated with a good work ethic and a can-do attitude.
* Troubleshooting and Reporting: Experience in creating and running reports, producing help guides for CAFM systems, and possessing troubleshooting skills to analyse and rectify system failures.
