Job Title: Senior Training Project Manager Location: Hybrid: Reading & home-based Contract: Permanent; Full-time Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience The Business Continuity Institute (BCI) is the world-leading professional association for business continuity and resilience professionals, with over 9,000 members in over 100 countries. We’re looking for a Senior Manager with strong project management and managerial experience to manage and develop the BCI Training and Education business including current and future stakeholder relationships. Key Accountabilities Management of the Learning Team. Review and manage the relationship with key stakeholders. Manage existing and new relationships with higher education, academia and resilience related management discipline professional bodies. Manage the delivery of the Certificate of the BCI (CBCI) examination programme, including management of third party suppliers involved in online examinations and marking. Align the BCI’s internal Education processes and management of its examination programme to Ofqual standards. Responsible for approving delivery modus of relevant training materials and education products for all stakeholder groups. Development of relevant products & services for the continuing professional development of stakeholder groups. Work with the Marketing team to deliver relevant marketing and communications with stakeholder groups. Plan with the COO all the Learning department’s projects. Work with the Sales team for Education product contract negotiations. With the COO, develop and manage the annual Learning department budget and revenue generation. Provide regular updates and reporting to COO and Executive Director as required. Skills Good standard of education, preferably in Management and Education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with a wide range of people from different countries and at different levels of an organisation. Proven time management skills to manage different pressures and a fluctuating workload. Demonstrable ability to think strategically. Proven effective stakeholder management and project management skills. Proven ability to deal with and analyse problems and develop workable solutions Experience of man management and team motivation Experience with training and education operations in the Higher Education & Professional Body sector. Familiarity with the operational and business structures of a training and education business. Proven effective ICT skills including Excel, Word and Outlook, CRM.
