Position: Senior Care Assistant - Days
Compensation: A£14.54 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, three shifts per week including alternate weekends

Situated just outside Rushden, the home is designed in a modern style, offering a homely yet contemporary setting for its residents. The home provides personal, nursing, and dementia care for up to 48 residents.

Primary Responsibilities
As a Senior Care Assistant, responsibilities include:
* Leading care support efforts to provide daily living assistance with a focus on dignity, respect, and independence
* Conducting medication rounds accurately and ensuring daily charts are completed to a high standard
* Leading shifts, supporting team members, and maintaining high standards of care
* Promoting best practices in care, addressing concerns, and participating in team evaluations as directed by the Home Manager
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ Level 3)
* Minimum of two years' experience in a residential or nursing care setting
* Understanding of Person-Centred Care Planning
* Awareness of safeguarding principles and abuse prevention
* Proximity to the location (within a 30-minute commute)
Preferred Skills and Experience
* At least two years' experience in a senior care role within a nursing home setting
* Experience in dementia care
* NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care or higher
* Knowledge of the National Care Standards Act 2000
* Experience conducting effective, person-centred evaluations and team management
