We have a variety of opportunity to suit the individual at the TATA Lisburn works. This site is responsible for TATA’s flat products and offers in house coil slitting and shearing. Only applicants with an NVQ Level 3 (minimum) or time served apprenticeship can be considered.
Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: TATA Steel, Lissue Walk, Lisburn BT28 2SN
Rate: £20 - £23 per hour PAYE (£35,000-£38,000 per annum)
We can offer a Temporary assignment, Contracted assignment or Permanent position
Shift Pattern: Days
*
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
*
Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Start: ASAP pending the result of a medical check
Responsibilities:
*
Supporting Operations teams by performing breakdown repairs
*
Leading Preventative maintenance activity
*
Facilitating continuous improvement initiatives
*
Maintain all process and auxiliary equipment across the facility
*
Reporting and recording maintenance and repair details for all work activities
*
Utilising maintenance management and IT systems accordingly
*
Adhering to UK health and Safety Legislation at all times
Essential Requirements:
*
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant electrical trade (ideally through an apprenticeship)
*
Experience within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment in the same role
*
Excellent knowledge of preventative maintenance, continuous improvement, and contractor management
*
Experience fault finding, electrical maintenance and adapting to new equipment within a heavy industrial environment
*
Strong verbal and written communication skills
*
IT Literacy
*
Full knowledge and practice of UK based Health and Safety Legislation
*
Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
