Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Teaching Assistant to support pupils in their learning journey, working closely with teachers and other staff to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities
* Work with small groups or individual pupils to provide additional learning support
* Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Help pupils develop their academic and social skills, fostering confidence and independence
* Provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs, including those with SEND
* Monitor and record pupil progress, offering feedback to teachers and parents as needed
Who We’re Looking For:
✔ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
✔ Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in a school setting
✔ A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning and development
✔ Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
✔ A good understanding of the National Curriculum and SEND support strategies
✔ A current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
