Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 negotiable + end of year 5-10% bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Construction & Lifting Equipment will involve:
1. Field sales position promoting the hire of our client’s range of mini cranes, glass lifters, vacuum lifters, glazing robots, and other specialist lifting machinery (500 different products).
2. All of your time will be spent selling to tier 2 contractors, glazing contractors, cladding contractors, façade contractors, steel erectors, and other specialist subcontractors.
3. Contract values can vary from £100 up to £40,000, with an average hire contract value around £10,000-£15,000.
4. Targeted to achieve circa £800,000-£1m.
5. Predominantly new business development, but will involve a small number of accounts to manage and also targeting many lapsed/dormant customers.
6. Will have to travel to the HP postcode office every Friday.
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Construction & Lifting Equipment with:
1. Must have construction field sales experience selling to contractors on-site.
2. Must have experience selling related products such as plant hire, cranes, lifters, lifting machinery, hydraulics, tools, or related product background (not essential).
3. No job hoppers.
4. High energy/hard working.
5. Able to work autonomously.
