The Role
As a Train Presentation Team Leader, you’ll manage and inspire a team of 3–5 operatives during night shifts to maintain the highest standards of train cleanliness and presentation. Your leadership will ensure passengers enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming travel environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervising and motivating your team to deliver efficient, high-standard cleaning services.
Allocating tasks from cleaning schedules, ensuring all full and deep cleans are completed on time.
Conducting quality audits to monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Training and mentoring team members on cleaning procedures and health & safety protocols.
Managing stock and equipment, ensuring all resources are accounted for and well-maintained.
Liaising with management, providing updates on team performance and addressing any challenges.
Leading by example, assisting with hands-on cleaning tasks, including hoovering, mopping, bleaching, de-tanking toilets, litter picking, and sanitising touchpoints.
The Candidate
Are you proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to lead by example? This role is ideal for someone with previous supervisory or team leader experience in cleaning or a related field who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
Prior experience as a supervisor or team leader in cleaning, housekeeping, or similar roles.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high cleaning standards.
The ability to work night shifts on a 4-on, 4-off pattern, from 20:00 pm to 06:00am.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Eligibility to work in the UK and the ability to pass a comprehensive medical examination and drug & alcohol test.
Rate of Pay and Benefits
£13.56 per hour for every hour worked.
Opportunities for overtime at management discretion.

Potential for permanent placement after the initial 6-month contract.
