Interim Real Estate Lawyer - International Bank - 5PQE+
Location: Bristol/Fully Remote

The Client - Our client is a prominent organisation with a significant footprint in the sustainable finance sector, seeking a real estate lawyer to join their team on a temporary contract.
The Role - The successful candidate’s work will include (but not be limited to):
* Manage real estate transactions related to commercial loans from start to finish, including conducting due diligence, reviewing and negotiating loan and security documentation, and overseeing completion processes.
* Provide strategic legal advice on real estate matters to support the organisation’s commercial lending activities, including coordinating advice from external counsel in relevant jurisdictions.
* Represent the organisation in client meetings and external stakeholder discussions as required, building trust and credibility with borrowers, advisors, and other parties involved in transactions.
* Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, offering practical and commercially focused legal guidance to meet client needs effectively.
* Contribute to the development of internal precedents, processes, and legal know-how to enhance team efficiency and knowledge-sharing, including leading training initiatives where appropriate.
* Support the preparation and delivery of presentations, pitches, and other business development activities to promote the organisation’s lending capabilities.
* Monitor emerging trends and regulatory developments in the real estate and finance sectors, and assist in shaping strategies to address relevant hot topics, including hosting webinars or contributing to online thought leadership.
You -
* England & Wales qualified - 5PQE+.
* Experience working with commercial loans.
* Real estate experience from recognised law firms within the real estate industry.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and drafting skills, with the ability to communicate clearly to clients, external counsel and other transaction parties.
* Ability to demonstrate a high degree of sector knowledge and commercial awareness.
