At Prospect Hospice, we are dedicated to providing outstanding end-of-life care to our patients, as well as offering emotional, spiritual, and practical support to their families and loved ones. Based in Swindon, we serve communities across North Wiltshire, Swindon, and the surrounding areas.
As a charity, we rely heavily on the generosity of individuals, businesses, and philanthropic donors to fund our services. We are now seeking a dynamic Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager to join our team and help us continue this vital work.
Hours: 30 to 37.5 hours per week (Flexible working options, minimum 3 days per week in the office, part-time considered).
What is the role?
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and results-driven individual to make a real impact in our community.
As the Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager, you will drive income through acquiring and managing relationships with corporate partners and major donors. You will proactively identify prospects, build relationships and prepare inspiring proposals to help meet ambitious fundraising targets. You will also be responsible for managing some of the charity's highest value existing relationships, providing excellent stewardship and thinking creatively to maximise their impact through new initiatives.

o Experience of securing and managing income-generating partnerships
o Experience of stewarding philanthropists/major donors
o Experience of the New Business journey
o Experience of growing income through excellent stewardship and partnership development
o Excellent networking & relationship building skills
o Strong written communication skills
o Ability to perform online research efficiently & effectively
o Excellent time management & prioritisation skills
Although not essential, the following skills would also be highly desirable for this role:
o Experience of using a pipeline to record and track progress of fundraising relationships
o Experience of using Raiser's Edge fundraising platform
o Good understanding of fundraising law, relevant compliance matters
o Good understanding of corporate CSR and ESG frameworks, You must tell us about any unspent conviction, cautions, reprimands or warnings under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975.
