What You'll Do: As the Head of Assets and Investment, you will provide clear and inspirational leadership for the Asset Investment, Compliance and Safety team ensuring effective management of resources, services and people Your responsibilities will include: Strategy and Leadership: Lead and inspire the Asset Investment, Compliance, and Safety teams. Ensure effective resource management and service delivery. Drive data-driven decision-making and innovative strategies for asset management. Prepare and present management reports and KPIs to the Executive Team and Board. Asset Performance and Investment: Oversee the 30-year stock investment programme, ensuring appropriate funding. Develop a stock appraisal system to optimise property management. Implement energy appraisal systems to meet net-zero carbon targets by 2030. Service Delivery: Ensure high-quality delivery of planned maintenance programmes. Monitor contractor performance to uphold safety, quality, and value. Manage correspondence, complaints, and claims efficiently. Safety, Compliance, and Regulation: Lead the development of the building and home safety programme. Manage health and safety compliance across Property Services. Proven experience in health and safety regulations related to housing. Strong background in business planning, budget management, and risk assessment. Ability to prepare and present executive-level reports. Familiarity with asset management strategies and zero carbon initiatives. Excellent communication skills and a knack for stakeholder engagement.
