Operating globally, our client is a leader in their field and is looking to expand their finance team by hiring an experienced Credit Controller. This standalone role is ideal for someone confident in fully owning all credit control responsibilities. What’s in it for you? Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm Salary: £28,000–£30,000 25 days holiday Christmas shutdown Birthday day off Salary sacrifice pension scheme On-site car parking Credit Controller Responsibilities Manage a high volume of accounts and oversee associated debts Proactively contact customers via phone and email to collect outstanding payments Maintain regular communication to recover owed monies successfully Handle incoming queries and provide timely, effective resolutions Conduct credit checks on new customers and set appropriate credit limits Assist with ad-hoc finance tasks, including cashbook cover Identify and escalate potential risk accounts to senior team members Credit Controller Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a dedicated Credit Controller role Demonstrated ability to take full ownership of credit control duties Confident in chasing payments while maintaining a polite and professional manner Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially over the phone Highly organised, with the ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
