My well established Engineering / Manufacturing client are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.
Duties:-
* Identifying suitable markets and industry for the business. Understanding the customer base and gaining new customers.
* Completing the necessary sales activity including customer visits, cold calls, emails, exhibitions and travelling to support customer requirements.
* Reporting and liaising directly with the Sales Director to ensure quotations are obtained whilst remaining competitive and meeting customer demands.
* Account management - from receiving enquiries, obtaining quotations from the estimating team, to handing over orders to the Project Manager.
* Grow and run accounts up to the value of £500K+ and growing each account to it's very highest potential.
* After sales care including regular visits and telephone contact.
* Liaise with sales, production and quality departments
* Meet with customers on a face to face basis both on and off site
* Deliver company presentation to a corporate level - be involved in quality audits and company shop floor tours.
* Sales reporting to be completed as per the business requirements.
Key Skills:-
* Proven track record of working in Sales within the sheet metal engineering industry supplying to B2B, Tier 1 & OEM supply chain.
