Description of role:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Member Marketing, Engagement and Events Advisor to join our team. This role will focus on promoting the work of our Institute through a wide range of technical events (online and in-person) and the associated marketing, to drive engagement between TWI Technical experts and Members. This will include overseeing use of digital marketing in support of technical events for both national and international Members. The ideal candidate will have experience of taking personal responsibility for ensuring successful event delivery, experience of member-based organisations and a passion for and sound understanding of how digital marketing can support successful technical engagement between Members and TWI.
The Member Marketing, Engagement and Events Advisor will be responsible for delivery of face to face and virtual technical events and the associated promotion and organisation, including supervision of 2 digital marketing apprentices, who create and distribute engaging content via digital platforms. You will have responsibility for maintaining schedule and quality of digital content.
Furthermore, the role will interface with the International Members Working Group, with a remit to develop strategies for recruitment of and technical engagement with international members and seek strategies for promoting professional membership within industrial member companies, expanding member recruitment through established recruitment schemes.
Travel within the UK will be required from time to time.
