Buyer
Permanent, Doncaster, £30-33K, 40 Hours per week
We are looking to recruit a Buyer for our Doncaster based client. Duties and responsibilities of the Buyer will include:
1. Going out to the market place to source products based on quality and price
2. Analysing prices and ensuring costs are kept within the budgets
3. Managing supplier performance and KPI's
4. Support the Engineering and Technical teams with sourcing and supplying components
5. Inventory management and tracking
6. Stock Audits and stock reports
7. Forecasting and stock availability
8. Lead 5S to ensure a clean and organised workspace
To be considered for the role of Buyer you must:
1. Preferably be a member of the CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply).
2. Have previous experience within a buying role
3. Hold a solid understanding of technical components
4. Be well organised and be able to prioritise
5. A good knowledge of Health & Safety, and experience with risk assessments and COSHH is advantageous
6. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
7. Self-motivated with a drive for efficiency and cost savings.
