Procurement Manager - BRAND NEW ROLE

We are recruiting for a rapidly expanding business who, due to growth, are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Overview of the role
1. Supplier Management: Oversee and streamline relationships with approximately 160 suppliers, including landscapers, security, and waste management. Implement a consistent procurement framework across the business.
2. Collaboration: Work closely with department heads across the business to understand supply needs and ensure alignment.
3. Supplier Vetting & Evaluation: Lead the supplier vetting process, develop SLAs and KPIs, and ensure suppliers meet performance standards.
4. Tendering & Strategy Development: Initiate tenders, develop and lead procurement strategies, and look for cost efficiencies.
5. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive value and reliability.
Requirements
1. Previous procurement experience ideally gained from a property/real estate/facilities management background.
2. Experience of procuring hard/soft services.
3. Experience in drafting service specifications.
4. Ideally a procurement qualification.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Strong negotiator and proactive.
