In the role of Clinical Director, you will share responsibilities for the overall leadership of the practice, driving advancements in clinical services, enhancing commercial performance, and fostering team development and wellbeing. A strong commitment to delivering exceptional service and outcomes for patients, clients, and colleagues will be central to their role, along with direct line management of the veterinary team-a dynamic and fulfilling position.
Clinically, the role will encompass a balanced mix of surgery, consultations, and in-patient care, providing opportunities for case continuity and the chance to build meaningful connections with the practice's loyal clients.
Established over 50 years ago, they proudly serve Lancashire from its three well-equipped sites. Located within an hour's drive of England's stunning Lake District, the practice benefits from excellent commuter links to Manchester and Liverpool, as well as easy access to Lancashire's beautiful countryside and designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The practice is defined by its close-knit and supportive team, with many members boasting over 20 years of dedicated service. The team consists of 16 Veterinary Surgeons, including several certificate holders, alongside others actively pursuing advanced qualifications, such as in surgery.
As a vet-owned independent practice, their people are at the heart of their success. The practice is committed to investing in its team, premises, and processes while maintaining a focus on environmental responsibility. Recognised with an Investors in the Environment bronze award, they are actively working toward achieving the next level of accreditation.
Their varied caseload spans routine care and advanced primary services, including orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, eye and skin treatments, and arthritis management. Its modern, purpose-built facilities are spacious and equipped with a wide range of advanced tools, with an openness to continuous improvement and further advancements.
Rota:
• 40 hour week over 4 days
• 1.5:16 weekends
• No ooh
