About the role
The No7 Beauty Company Research & Innovation Team conducts consumer research to test new ideas, technologies, products, and services.
Working as a Consumer Panel Coordinator, you'll be an important contributor to our Research team, enabling consumer research on our beauty innovations in development.
Our consumer panels, spanning both the UK and US, allow us to engage with over 50,000 consumers worldwide. This enables us to conduct large-scale research studies, providing valuable insights into different beauty preferences.
As a Consumer Panel Coordinator, you will help manage our global consumer panels. Your responsibilities will include recruiting volunteers, coordinating project setup, and collaborating with teams, including R&D, Insights, Design, and Marketing.
The Consumer Panel Coordinator will report into the Consumer Panel Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Help manage our Consumer Panels, ensuring they reflect the diverse needs of global markets.
2. Support targeted recruitment campaigns with external agencies.
3. Recruit volunteers for product home user trials, on-site studies, and consumer focus groups in both the UK and US.
4. Support on-site study recruitment, allocation, and scheduling.
5. Help conduct consumer focus groups, including interviewing consumers.
6. Create surveys using SurveyMonkey and our Panel Management System.
7. Be a primary contact for all UK and US consumer panel enquiries.
8. Manage all volunteer communications, including email, phone, and text messages.
9. Maintain and update volunteer accounts for both UK and US panels.
10. Manage the technical aspects of our CRM, including troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements. You will become the CRM technical expert, training the research team on the software and recruitment best practice.
11. Ensure a positive volunteer experience for all consumer panel members.
What you’ll need to have
1. Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for uncovering insights.
2. Effective communication and empathy to build strong relationships with consumers.
3. Advanced IT skills and strong research acumen will enable you to quickly gather and analyse information.
4. Experience working with research participants or in a customer service role.
5. Competent in translating, implementing, and ensuring compliance with GDPR legislation.
6. Collaborative and an excellent team player.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present work in engaging visual formats.
9. Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
10. A high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently.
It would be great if you also have
1. A degree in research methods such as psychology, anthropology or any relevant social sciences.
2. Knowledge or experience of conducting research studies including survey design and writing questionnaires.
3. Experience using survey platforms such as SurveyMonkey or Qualtrics.
4. Experience using a CRM and consumer-facing IT solutions e.g. Esendex, Poppulo.
5. Hands-on experience working and analysing data.
