Job summary An exciting opportunity has risen for a GP to join our team. We are a thriving, friendly, well-established forward-thinking Training practice holding true to family medicine values. We are looking to expand our team and would like a salaried GP with view to partnership to join us ideally for 6 sessions, but this can be negotiable. We are happy to nurture and support newly qualified GPs and/or promote ongoing professional support to experienced GPs. Main duties of the job As a Salaried GP working towards Partnership, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care as part of our friendly and supportive clinical team. Your role will involve a mix of face-to-face and telephone consultations, and Duty doctor responsibilities as well as home visits where necessary. You will also, support the wider administration and clinical team including trainees. About us We have a list size of 8400 and 2 Sites based 8 miles apart in the villages of Coedpoeth and Cefn Mawr. We currently have three GP Partners and a Practice Manager Partner who are supported by a fantastic team, which includes two salaried GPs, one advanced Nurse Practitioner, one Practice Pharmacist, two Practice Nurses, two Health Care Assistants and a highly skilled Primary Care Team. We are looking to enhance our practice team further to continue providing quality care for which we have always strived. We enjoy having FY2 students and GP Registrars and we regularly mentor Pharmacists and APPs to become prescribers, we also plan to support Medical Students from Cardiff/Bangor University in the future. We are heavily involved with cluster work, and we have the pleasure to work with a like-minded group of practices in Northwest Wrexham, we currently employ an APP as a home visiting service. Our home visit rate is low due to a strict home visiting policy.
