Parking Enforcement Processing Unit (PEPU) is part of the Department for Infrastructure and is based in Co Hall, Omagh.
PEPU - The primary objective of parking enforcement is to reduce the impact of traffic congestion and improve highway and pedestrian safety by reducing the number of illegally parked vehicles. Typically 120-160,000 Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) have been issued annually and are administered by PEPU.
Admin Officer Duties
This is a full-time post Monday to Friday. Flexible working hours are operated in the office. Most duties are carried out on a daily rota basis and there may be occasions when it will be necessary for you to be in the office between 9.00am and 5.00pm i.e. responsible for telephone duties. There may be the opportunity to work from home once fully trained. Processing and Admin in relation to PCNs.
Essential Criteria:
• 5 GCSE's at grade C and above including Maths and English.
