Turn IT on are looking for an ICT Consultant who has a real flair for technology mixed with a passion for providing exemplary service to our customers to join our team supporting schools in and around Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds offering onsite support.
School locations:
* Morton in the marsh
* Cheltenham
* Central Oxford
* Witney
* Abingdon
* Stow on the Wold
You will facilitate communication between schools and turn IT on, stay updated on services offered, and manage customer accounts.
You should be confident in maintaining school computer equipment, installing software, providing technical support, and resolving issues. Knowledge of user applications and experience with Microsoft Office365 are essential. Ideally, candidates will have 1-2 years’ experience in ICT support, preferably in education.
The role requires a passion for IT, strong technical skills, self-motivation, excellent customer service, and good communication skills. Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and proactively improve services is important.
Responsibilities
* Work effectively as part of a team
* Respond to support requests following Help Desk procedures
* Assist in installing or repairing computers and network equipment
* Support a range of technical duties related to network and desktop services
* Communicate effectively with school staff and colleagues
* Identify and pass on sales opportunities
