Ercall Wood Academy is looking for an experienced leader with a passion for improving the quality of teaching to work collaboratively with experienced staff in a high quality and well-resourced environment in the role of Assistant Principal.
Ercall Wood Academy is a vibrant, values driven community school for students from 11–16 years of age, proudly located in Wellington, Telford and Wrekin. We are looking for an Assistant Principal to join our Senior Leadership Team to continue to drive whole school standards to ensure that the school environment supports teachers in delivering evidence-informed strategies that will ensure the success of our students.
As Assistant Principal for Quality of Education, you will excel as a strategic leader, and in the classroom - but, just as importantly, you will be instrumental in supporting colleagues across all roles to enhance their effectiveness through mentoring, coaching, professional development, and challenge.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and outstanding leader with a track record of success. We need someone with middle leadership or senior leadership experience who can walk the walk and be a beacon of excellent practice, whilst possessing the intellectual and professional credibility to drive up standards across the academy.
