Production on our sites involves highly automated 24/7 operations, and the performance and efficiency rely on excellent engineering practice.
Main Duties:
1. Ensuring the safe and efficient running of the production process, improving plant and equipment to ensure full operation.
2. Maintaining plant in optimum condition to maximise efficiency and reduce downtime.
3. Responding to breakdowns and outages while participating in an on-call rota.
4. Carrying out systematic fault finding.
5. Being confident in all aspects of electrical maintenance, from power and lighting to PLC control.
6. Completing project work.
7. General equipment maintenance including strip down, clean, inspect, repair, and rebuild.
8. Carrying out PPM works in line with our schedule.
9. Promoting and implementing improvements in our onsite engineering team to maximise efficiency.
10. General maintenance around the site, including grounds, office, production, and storage areas.
11. Maintaining accurate records of all works carried out.
12. Maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness in own working areas.
13. Carrying out a clean-as-you-go policy.
14. Adhering to H&S and environmental requirements.
15. Assisting mechanical engineers in day-to-day tasks.
16. Any other reasonable task requested by a member of the Management Team.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Core electrical qualifications with 2 years of working experience.
2. Working knowledge of electrical installation in an industrial environment.
3. Experience in a similar role in a fast-moving, high-volume production or manufacturing environment.
4. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
5. Excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
6. Adaptability and flexibility to meet ever-changing demands.
7. Excellent and effective communication skills at all levels.
8. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills.
10. Flexibility with a positive approach.
